Bio21 Collaborative Projects
Research clusters generate a local critical mass in research facilities, expertise and professional networks and enhance research productivity, innovation and efficiency.
A range of research infrastructure and facilitated collaborative projects are described in this section. Other agreed priority projects are determined through consultation with Members.
At its outset, the Bio21 Cluster received funding through the Victorian Government Science Technology Infrastructure initiative for two ‘developments', the Bio21 Institute and the refurbished Joint ProteomicS Facility, and six collaborative platform projects. These projects were successfully implemented and in many instances, have gone on to further developments and to leverage greater levels of funding. We keep track of developments in these projects, established by the Bio21 Cluster.
