The HRDF was established to provide a forum for open discussion, investigation and review of the issues facing research active hospitals. These include research governance, platform funding and effective translation of research findings into policy and practice. The HRDF focuses on the recognition and promotion of the importance of research in hospitals. The group actively engages with key collaborators including research institutes, universities and state and federal governments.
