CRCs in Mental Health Awarded
The two CRCs recently awarded represent a significant investment in mental health research across the age spectrum. The CRC for Mental Health will focus on early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and schizophrenia. The CRC for Young People, Technology and Wellbeing will bring together numerous organisations to tackle mental illness in young people with the aid of today's rapidly evolving communications technologies.
The Bio21 Cluster congratulates Dr Jane Burns and Prof Colin Masters who will have major involvement in the CRCs.
The CRCs involve a number of the Bio21 Cluster Member organisations and we wish them well in their endeavours and look forward to helping facilitate interactions across the Cluster.
